Strength Within

Description

Samantha is a young mom of three beautiful children and a blessed wife of almost ten years to Tey. In October of 2023, they received the devastating phone call that the lump in her breast was indeed cancer. On top of the initial diagnosis, a couple of weeks later they received more challenging news. The cancer was inflammatory, the triple-negative- two characteristics made it extremely aggressive, and it had spread to other areas in her body. In the midst of googling prognosis and diving head first into research to learn all they could, Samantha has been anchored by her faith in God and hope that the impossible is always an option even when a man would say otherwise. She firmly believes that no matter the outcome, her purpose is to live with hope each day, be present, and focus on the here and now. Life is terminal – we all know that life will end and no one knows when except our Creator. The phrase “Strength Within” resonates with Samantha and her family as they have had to turn to Christ to be strengthened within to find a way to face each day. The image of the sun rising over the mountains reminds us that joy will come in the morning and one day we will overcome the challenges.
