We enjoyed the book. However, it’s disappointing that each book does not stand on its own. You could tie the second book in with the first and still have a solid ending in the first book.

This book is one of my niece’s favorites. She loves the names of the characters, the illustration, and the overall message of this story. My niece now has a better understanding of why lying can hurt many people. I love this book because there is representation of different ethnicities and the characters look like us. Great work with this book, Kelly! You’ve definitely got some fans with this book and we cannot wait for Book 2 where we find out where the family is going.

This beautiful book was AWESOME! I bought several copies for my nieces and nephews back in April as Easter basket stuffers. They absolutely loved “Mama Means Business.” The characters were established as if we were at the kitchen table with them. Mrs Kelly Bullock I cannot wait to see what else is in store for you as an author. The diversity was very refreshing to see, because my family felt represented through your work. Thank you so much for your contributions to young literature!

Such an easy read and a great lesson learned, something that is missing in the world today. Wonderful book for families and I was pleased to see someone that looks like me and my family!

I bought the book and gave you to my older grandchildren now I have given it to all of them except for the toddler shake and read they all enjoy it very entertaining very relatable and a good read throughout the book great job to the author
